Babies and young children just love repetition, eye contact and the comforting sound of your voice.
We have been talking about the importance of talking, reading and singing with even the littlest babies in our baby groups. Here are a couple of simple rhymes we have enjoyed this week. They encourage changes in the volume and pace of the reader’s voice, eye contact between baby and care-giver and the tickling provides a lovely sensory element.
