Home-Start Kernow is a charity working to improve the lives of families with children under the age of 5. We are a supportive team of nearly 20 staff, located across Cornwall and have been expanding over the last few years as success brings further contracts for work. 

We work from home, with regular online meetings and a monthly in-person, whole team meeting. You will need to have a home working space with internet access and be able to drive to meetings and events across Cornwall. Home-Start Kernow provides training opportunities, work-place pension and a generous holiday allowance. A fully enhanced DBS will be required for these roles.  

Family Support Coordinator Vacancies x 2 – West Cornwall (35hrs) and North, East Cornwall (35hrs)

Salary £30,111 pro rata

We are seeking 2 Family Support Coordinators to work for 35 hours per week, fixed-term contract to start 1st Jan 2027 for a year initially, with extension likely beyond the first year. We are willing to consider flexible or part-time working to suit the applicant and the organisation.

You will be working as part of the Home-Start Kernow core delivery team, to deliver support for families of early years children. In the first instance, working to deliver the Parents as First Teachers model of support but also working flexibly to manage volunteers, deliver groups and other home-based models of support.

To be successful you will have experience in leading others and bring your motivation for supporting vulnerable families.

Lead Dad Matters Coordinator (30hrs)

We are seeking a Lead Dad Matters Coordinator on a fixed-term contract to start 4th Jan 2027 for a year initially, with extension likely beyond the first year. We are willing to consider flexible or part-time working to suit the applicant and the organisation.

You will be working as part of the Home-Start Kernow core delivery team, to deliver support for families of early years children.
