Volunteers really are the life-blood of Home-Start Kernow.  Our volunteer trustees are no exception.  They shape, guide and drive the organisation forward, enabling us to carry out our vital work throughout the county.

There are many reasons to want to become a trustee of Home Start Kernow but one of the most important reasons is ‘because you have something to offer’ and are passionate about supporting families in Cornwall.

For the right person, becoming a trustee is simple. If you can think both strategically and creatively and are willing to speak your mind, as well as be open minded then you are exactly the sort of person we are looking for.

Many people come to the role of trustee following a career in business, but we also need young, fresh ideas to take Home Start Kernow forward towards the future. If you have been helped by us or volunteered for us, you may feel you have something to offer. If this is something that you are interested in, then please get in touch.

We are keen to hear from anyone who can help us shape and deliver the vision for the charity, especially if you are fabulous at marketing and communications; have great IT skills; interested in figures & budgets or interested in fundraising
