Home Start Kernow are delighted to announce we have a grant for £4,724 from South West Water to help fund our group work.
Our group work particularly helps parents going through anxiety, depression, multiple birth and isolation. Our support groups build independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
Under the direction of our coordinators, our trained volunteers run a variety of weekly face to face and online groups where parents have the chance to meet other parents and build friendships.
Children are at the forefront of Home Start Kernow’s mission and by running our groups we are seeing the positive impact on the wellbeing and development of children we support.
