Start Your Journey with Expert Training
Before you begin, you’ll take part in our accessible and engaging 16-hour training programme — designed to give you all the essentials you need to support local families with confidence. Topics include:
• Understanding Attachment
• The Power of Play
• Parental Mental Health
• Safeguarding Children and Families
Plus, you’ll have ongoing access to additional CPD (Continuing Professional Development) opportunities so you can keep building your knowledge base. These optional sessions include:
• Perinatal Mental Health
• Understanding Domestic Abuse
• Trauma-Informed Ways of Working
• Basic First Aid
• Supporting Neurodiverse Children
And don’t worry — we also provide an annual safeguarding refresher to keep your skills sharp and up to date.
Real-World Experience

• Prefer 1:1 support? Join our home-visiting team and build strong, trusting relationships with families — making a lasting impact on children’s lives.
