We would like to thank them for their generosity and the time taken to wrap all the boxes. These gifts will be boxed up for families we support and delivered by our Home visiting volunteers & Coordinators before Christmas

“Shed the Beard” 2016 Challenge

We want to say a big THANK YOU to our Trustee and Chair Steve Fowler for his 2016 fundraising challenge in which he raised £328!

“Shed the Beard”

Following on from his 2015 challenge to remain clean shaven for a month, this year Steve decided to grow out his beard for 3 whole months! and then gradually shave to match famous beards throughout history.

Steve said “I chose Home Start Kernow as I am Chair and Trustee so I have to live and breathe the continuation of such an important service. Cornwall is one of the most deprived areas of the UK and families need support for all sort of reasons, What could be more important than supporting parents to give their children the best possible start in life?”
